racism has been constantly used. But what does this term refer to? Watch the explanation

1)  Describe the two boys’ situations with keywords around the following picture:



  1. 2)  Historically, what are the things someone would need to build wealth? Did Jamal’s
    grandparents have these 2 things? Why (not)?



  2. 3)  Based on the definition of “redlining”, describe how it affected Jamal’s
    grandparents who wanted to buy a house.


    (redlining: refuse a loan or insurance to someone because he/she lives in an
    area deemed to be a poor financial risk.)
